Days Inn “Turn Up, Take Off” Instant-Win Game & Sweepstakes

In the summer of 2012, Berlin was asked to partner in the development of a Days Inn Facebook promotion that would reinforce the brand's advertising campaign and association with singer-songwriter Jess Penner, creator of Days Inn’s current theme song. Quickly establishing an essential and close working relationship with Days Inn's ad agency, Berlin constructed and executed a six-week promotion that provided a unique game experience: following Jess Penner as she drove around the country in her Mustang convertible while providing clues to her whereabouts. Participants were awarded with weekly instant-win prizes on their way to an extraordinary grand prize: a Mustang convertible of one’s own!

The Turn Up, Take Off promotion actively engaged participants in the brand's ad campaign, firmly establishing the Days Inn Facebook page and exceeding goals for database opt-ins and new loyalty program membership.
