New York City Department of Environmental Protection

As you might imagine, a 160,000 square foot state-of-the-art water treatment facility has more moving parts than anyone could possibly count. With all that specialized equipment comes very specialized training.

So, when it was time for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) to start training workers at the Catskill-Delaware Water Ultraviolet Disinfection Facility, they thought ahead and called Berlin.

Berlin was on site as all classroom and field training took place, capturing the training on video and packaging the classroom sessions as training modules that incorporate presentation visuals and graphics. The video can be watched on DVD, or even streamed. This enables the DEP to continually train facility staff without requiring an in-person classroom instructor at all times.
