Kozy Shack Pudding Personals

Known across the U.S. mainly for its rice pudding, Kozy Shack wanted to see its equally rich and delicious chocolate pudding varieties achieve some of that same notoriety.

In order to generate awareness and trial, Berlin examined the passion of Kozy Shack rice pudding fans, and stirred the passion of chocolate lovers with Pudding Personals, a several-week promotion that took place around Valentine’s Day.

Because Kozy Shack’s chocolate puddings are suited to every lifestyle and taste — No Sugar Added, Soy Pudding, Chocolate Mint and so on — Berlin created a micro-site that featured a personal ad for each variety. In return, consumers were asked to reply with their own personal ad. The entrant with the most creative reply was treated to a romantic weekend getaway for two.

The promotion was rich in traction, thanks to a strong Facebook posting and sharing strategy. In addition to the microsite, deliverables for this promotion included banner ads, Facebook ads and several newspaper FSIs. And the result? Heaping spoonfuls of chocolate pudding sales!
